The forthcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand will not include Shreyas Iyer. Iyer sustained a "back injury," according to a statement released by the BCCI on Tuesday afternoon, January 17.
According to the announcement, "He will be traveling to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for additional evaluation and management."
Iyer's substitute for the series, with the opening game beginning on January 18 in Hyderabad, is Rajat Patidar.
Iyer participated in every game of the just finished series against Sri Lanka, scoring 38 in his final appearance on January 15 in Trivandrum.
The BCCI has not disclosed the precise nature of the injury, the length of his recovery, or the circumstances surrounding how he sustained the injury.
Iyer underwent surgery and was sidelined for six months in March 2021 after sustaining a shoulder injury while fielding the ball. His most recent worry about an injury is this one.
Cricket Betting: Game-related Strategies
There are cricket betting techniques that are tied to specific games as opposed to quantitative approaches. These are more qualitative and rely on your ability to foresee outcomes by analyzing the trends and traits of the competition or particular game.

However, before selecting your betting strategy, you must thoroughly comprehend the odds, betting lines, and combinations. You will need to carefully select your wagers and determine how much money you will deposit.
