The temporary leadership of the A side has been assigned to T Dilip, the India fielding coach. Later on in the next month, he will join the national team.
The India A team, led by Abhimanyu Easwaran, departed for Dhaka on Thursday. They will play two four-day matches there, from November 29 to December 2 and again from December 6 to 9, which will coincide with the three-match ODI series between Bangladesh and India that begins on December 4.
On December 1, the full-strength Indian team—captained by Rohit Sharma and coached by Rahul Dravid—will depart for Bangladesh. In addition, India will compete in two Test matches from December 14–18 and December 22–26 as a part of the World Test Championship.
